Use in safety decisions

Do not use this website or an automated response as the sole basis for approving work, selecting a critical control, issuing a permit, authorizing restart, certifying compliance, diagnosing injury or directing emergency response. Verify the jurisdiction, source status and current primary material. Obtain competent local advice where an error could cause harm or legal exposure.

HSE Guide limitations

The HSE Guide uses an AI service and web-source retrieval. It can misunderstand a question, miss a law, rely on outdated material or produce an incorrect statement. It is not a human HSE professional, regulator, lawyer or investigator. Source links support checking; their presence does not prove the answer is complete or applicable.

Incident information

Do not enter names, medical details, confidential company information, witness identities, legally privileged material or evidence that should be preserved within a controlled investigation. The Ishikawa cause and effect feature is a learning aid. Its possible causes are hypotheses for testing, not findings. Do not use it to allocate blame or replace a competent investigation.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass its safeguards, submit unlawful content, interfere with its operation or use generated material to misrepresent professional competence, regulatory approval or certification.

Learner accounts and certificates

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and use only your own account. An HSE Hub course certificate records completion of the named online course and its assessment threshold. It is not a professional licence, regulatory approval, academic degree, identity credential or proof of workplace competence. The certificate name is the profile name associated with an email-verified account. Certificates are issued only by the server after account, lesson and assessment checks. We may revoke a certificate obtained through manipulation, impersonation or material misuse.

Risk assessment workspace

The risk assessment workspace is a record-keeping aid. You remain responsible for the accuracy, suitability, approval and lawful use of every assessment and control. A downloaded record does not show that Myaser HSE Hub, IOSH, a regulator or any other body has reviewed or approved the work. A competent person must verify the assessment against the applicable jurisdiction, site conditions and organizational procedure before use.

Corrections and availability

We may correct, update, restrict or withdraw content without notice when sources or requirements change. Report a suspected error to [email protected]. The service may be unavailable and should never form part of an emergency or safety-critical control.
